Enclosures & Fittings Capabilities

We provide durable and reliable enclosures and fittings that ensure the safety and longevity of your electrical systems.

Why Choose CMS for Enclosures & Fittings

With integrated manufacturing and engineering teams, we deliver custom products that fit perfectly and perform reliably.

Design to Delivery

We handle the full chain from drawing and DFM review through tooling, casting or forging, machining, and final delivery — under one supply relationship.

Alloy & Process Guidance

We advise on alloy selection (copper, brass, bronze, aluminium, steel) and manufacturing process (casting vs. forging vs. machining) based on load, conductivity, and environment.

Compliance Built In

Custom parts are designed from the start with cULus and RoHS requirements in mind, reducing rework and certification delays later in the supply chain.

Repeat Supply Ready

Once a custom part is approved, we maintain tooling and process records to support accurate, on-spec repeat orders for ongoing procurement needs.

Enclosures & Fittings FAQs

  • What do I need to start a custom part request with CMS?

We can start from a drawing, CAD file, sample part, or a written specification. If you only have an idea or a functional requirement, our engineering team can help develop the initial design from there. The more detail you provide, the faster we can provide a quote and lead time.

  • Can CMS replicate a discontinued OEM part?

Yes. We regularly reverse-engineer legacy electrical components — including grounding hardware, transmission fittings, and utility connectors — where original drawings are no longer available. We measure from the physical sample, develop a drawing, and confirm fit and function before production.

  • Will custom parts meet cULus or RoHS requirements?

Where required, we engineer custom parts to meet cULus Listed and RoHS Compliant standards. This includes alloy selection, surface treatment, and documentation support. We advise on certification pathways early in the design process to avoid costly changes later.
